Cash's schedule for the 6th grade.
As Cash stood in front of his locker I looked around him at the other kids struggling a little to open their lockers. I got a little worried that he may not get it ....but he did...like a champ! It's such a little thing but still such a relief for me, and him, that he got it figured out so quickly. It is one less thing to struggle with the first day of school.
Later that evening we took Cash back to RMS for Open House. This was an opportunity for him to meet each teacher, locate his classrooms and find out what additional supplies he would need for each class.
Ben and I stood in C's ELA PreAP class as the teacher started her presentation and when she said "take your phones out to take pictures of the screens I will be sharing" we thought for sure she was mainly talking to parents. NO!! She was talking to the kids. I knew there would be several that had phones but had no idea that it was an expectation. So much of an expectation they use them to write/type papers! Times have changed. We aren't in Kansas anymore!
I snapped a pic of this cutie being very studious as she watched and listened to the 6th grade ELA PreAP instruction.
