Emma's 5th Birthday

The BIG number 5 has arrived!  Our girl is having her birthday party on her actual birthday this year which I love!  We took her picture at the end of April just to get her invites out to her pre-k class!  Her invite turned out super cute....but the best part is our girl.  She is just stunning!

A couple of days before her birthday my mom took her shopping!  She got some of the cutest clothes.  Crazy as it is I was already thinking of school clothes so I definitely kept that in mind as we were shopping!

We started our girl's birthday morning by having Ben and Cash go into her room and wake her by saying Happy Birthday really loud.  This was her request and she quickly realized it may not have been the best idea as she was not ready to wake up.  After she got up she opened the gifts we got for her and then we had a pancake breakfast!  She wanted orange pancakes!  So with the help of some food coloring she was a happy camper!

We ran some errands for the party and I took her to get her nails done!

A few of us headed next door to Mi Casa Tamale to grab dinner and drinks!  The kids were still able to play and the adults got to spend some time together!

After what was a long day we headed home and Emma got to open her presents.  I was exhausted but she was super excited!  

Emma had her 5 year well child visit with our new Pedi - Dr. Hawkins.  She is still middle of the road with weight and 75% for height.  She is super healthy and no shots during the visit!
