All things Emma at the BIG age of 5!

I would like to say that Emma is independently independent but I push her to gain independence.  Wish is really nice because she takes it at a nice and steady pace.  She would let me do everything for her if I would so we get to work on things a little at a time.

She is so very smart and we love hearing all about what she is learning at school!   On the way to dance the other day she told me her leotard had diamonds on it and that "another word for diamonds is rhombus".

Misc:
Aug 2018
1.  Emma and I were laying in her bed, as we do every night, and she was telling me all about her future kids and husband....it went something like this..."I am going to have 6 kids and their names are going to be Rosie, Uni and Unicorn which are twins, Glitter and Sparkle which are also twins and Leana.  My husband plays music and we are going to have a house close to yours.  We will build a house in the Dominion!"
Sept 2018
1. Laying in bed E was telling about how Ben "droove" somewhere...I can't remember the where but I did remember the "droove" (drove).
2. Dinner time with Emma is a constant "eat Emma"..."please eat your dinner Emma"...."we can talk when you are done eating Emma".  She loves to tell stories during dinner but more than that she loves to tell jokes.  She loves to talk about Christmas at dinner time as she knows we are quickly approaching the holidays!
*As shy as Emma is she will flat out break it down in front of anyone...anywhere!  She doesn't care who is watching...she literally dances like no-one is watching!
Oct 2018
1. Emma tells me in the car that she has a crush on Rogan (the little boy that wrote her a note in class and left it on her desk).  I try not to make a big deal so she keeps talking to me.  She tells me that Rogan is very nice but he doesn't know that she has a crush on him.  A week or so later she is talking about him again to Ben telling him that Rogan's just had a birthday and that he is 6 now.  Ben asked her if Rogan is her boyfriend and she said yes but that he doesn't know that yet.  HA!
2.  Our girl is very aware of those being nice to her....courteous...a little boy in her class accidentally pushed her down and while telling me what happened she said "he didn't even say sorry" and then she told me that Rogan help her up.  She said "that is such a nice thing to do".  She told me that Rogan is "such a nice boy".

We got Emma a twin sleeper sofa for her room.  She has plenty of space and I thought it would be a great touch.  A spot that she can read, relax and perfect for a sleepover!  This is where I found her after school the day it was delivered!

A little boy in Emma's class, Rogan,  wrote her a note (envelope and all) and left it on her desk.  She said "I saw it on my desk and said..."why is this here?"...she gave me the note to read...to say the least Ben wasn't thrilled...in a funny way...and not so funny way!  The right page says "you are a nice kid"!

Fun at basketball practice!  Emma loves Snapchat!

Emma had a playdate/slumber party with her friend Ivy.  This was her first sleepover!  She was very excited...a little apprehensive but excited!  Ivy and her family have moved to Colorado but still have their home here right now so it was great to get the girls together!

On our way to eat at Opi's with my parents.

We picked up Ivy for a little afternoon play date after school!

Besides me and Ben there is no-one Emma loves like Cash!  She just adores him!  She is very sassy with him which drives him nuts and she wishes he "played" with her more but they absolutely adore each other!
