One afternoon I went into Life Time Fitness to get a one week pass in an effort to decide if we wanted to join or not. Enough of that....
While I was there I saw a flyer for a Father Daughter dance there at Life Time. I had just been talking about such a dance with Ben. I had even inquired with our church to see if they have an annual dance but they don't. I was elated to see this and immediately sent it to Ben. He was of course all for it and Emma over the moon excited. She was already talking about how she needed to show Ben how to dance!
We were on the hunt for a new dress and "heels"! I curled her hair, got her dressed and her date was soon at the door. I got video of Ben picking her up which was SO precious! He brought her beautiful pink roses and a package of hershey kisses (which I brought him on our second date). She was very excited!
My parents joined us at Ruth's Chris for dinner before the dance and then off they went.
They had a great time. Ben took several videos of Emma doing her signature dance move! She had so much fun and the evening will be something she always remembers. We pray for her to have the bar set high for the man that wins her heart. Her daddy loves her more than words could ever express. He is certainly setting the bar so high I think secretly he is hoping no-one can meet it.

Valentine's Day 2018
The day was just perfect! Cash got up for school and after he was ready he wanted to get Emma up so they could open/see their Valentine gifts. He really wanted her to see what she got! Cash loves to see her get excited. He bought her a super sweet teddy bear! She was SO happy when she got up. Though the picture is blurry....you can definitely see the excitement on her face!
Our little Valentine was all ready for her school day! She had a Valentine's Day party at her school and got many sweet Valentine's from her friends. They each made Valentine's Day card holders.
We ended the evening with Ben making us his very yummy lasagna!
Happy Valentine's Day 2018!!

My mother the handy woman...
I took some great pics of the kids and got the perfect frames but in true "Terri" fashion was not even going to attempt to hang these frames. Thank goodness for my mother! She is super handy and came to my rescue! They turned even more beautiful than I imagined!
Emma lost her fear...of heights?
We went to the Boot Scoot fundraiser at Cash's school and they had a few pretty good sizes bounce houses. I did not for one second think Emma would even attempt to go on any of them. I was SO wrong. Not sure who this child is but she was bounce house crazy. We loved every minute of watching her be so carefree!
She was so carefree, which this is totally like her, she was shaking her tail feather to the music the dj was playing!
