Halloween 2016

Halloween started out with a father/son outing to the 13th Floor.  Cash's first "real" haunted house.  I let him watch the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre prior to going as there is no bad language or sexual content.  Just a good scary movie...which he didn't think was scary.  Go figure...he does belong to Ben and I.  He loved the 13th Floor but again didn't think it was over the top scary.  He had a blast though.

I took the kids to Milberger's Nursery as they always have a Fall "festival".  They had a corn maze and haunted tunnel so we did a quick walk through and snapped a couple of pics.  Concordia Lutheran had their Fall festival which made for a fun afternoon!  You can tell who wasn't with us at the Fall festival.  Cash was off on his own to do the "big kid" stuff.

We decided to carve a pumpkin this year as the kids really wanted to do it.  I typically don't like to because its still so warm here that the pumpkin rots before Halloween.  The kids enjoyed though!

Halloween costume choices this year were from one end of the spectrum to the other.   Emma wanted to be Peppa Pig and Cash Leatherface.  There was a Halloween BMX race the Saturday before Halloween.  The kids got to dress up and E wore here Minnie Mouse costume from last year.  Cash not only won 1st place for scariest costume in his age group along with another kid but won the race for his age group.  He had a great time!!

We had Chad and Rochelle and the Atchelys over again for Halloween.  I didn't get as many pics this year as last but we had a great time!  The kids of course loaded up on candy and this time it seemed to last a lot longer.  Perhaps stricter regulations.:)
