Emma loves to help in the kitchen!
As summer started we went to Clay Casa so the kids to paint.
Emma doesn't want to get her nails polished but she thinks its fun to pretend she did.
A little fun at the JW listening to Ben. As we were leaving Cash showed me his dance moves...he's a good little dancer.
This summer Emma ended up just needing to wear floaties in the pool. I was thinking by end of summer she would be swimming but I anticipate that she will be 4 years old like Cash was when she learns to swim on her own....so next summer.
For the longest time Cash has wanted to "do" BMX. Every time we would pass by the Lone Star BMX track on Blanco he would say he wanted to do it so we went to a practice. He loved it and we signed him up at the 2nd practice he went to. He has had one race so far, got 2nd place, and really enjoyed it. We could see he tired easily which certainly told us he is not getting enough exercise so for that alone its great! Emma had to get in on the picture taking action!
We had our landscaping redone....yet again. This time NO mulch! Hoping this is a better option and I think it looks great!

Got the fence painted.
This sweet baby joined us in the evening and proceeded to use our yard as his/her bed for the night a couple of times.
Cash did one camp this summer since we had so many vacations planned. He did TBarM for the first time. It was the day camp as he wasn't quite ready for the overnight yet. He really enjoyed it and I thought their Bible lessons/messages were just great...so important.
Ben is working diligently on getting in to the Texas music scene which means playing public gigs vs corporate. So we had merchandise created and he played Cooter Brown's. It was a great turn out and as usual he rocked the house! The ball is rolling.
I went to a LipSense party in my neighborhood and brought Emma with me...this was the result. Her color of choice...red!
We ended the summer with a fun evening out with Jason and Stephanie. We went to the Great Escape down town and followed that up with a great sushi restaurant. While there we ran into Howie and Nora!
