Emma's 3rd Birthday

Emma's birthday this year was Frozen themed.  We even had Anna and Elsa come pay the birthday girl a special visit all the way from Arendelle.  A lot of her friends from school came which she loved.  It was a lot of fun and the birthday girl was super happy!

My mom helped me plant..what am I saying...she planted some beautiful flowers in a huge pot I got for the front of the house.  It just turned out so pretty!

The day of Emma's actual birthday we opened the gifts we got her, had lunch with Andy and my parents came over to swim, have pizza and eat cake!   

Father's Day 2016

We had a pretty low key Father's Day weekend.  My Uncle Eddie and Elida came down to spend the weekend with my parents.

We all went to the JW on that Friday evening to listen to Ben play.  The next day we loaded up in the RV and headed to Snow's BBQ.  Eating there was on my dad's bucket list as he loves some good bbq but unfortunately we didn't get anymore than a little taste of their brisket as they were running out of food and the line was still super long!  We loaded back up and headed to eat at Louie Mueller's.  The line was super long there as well but we were smart this time and called ahead with our order.  The food was so good!!!!  Worth the drive.  We will have to make it back to Snow's soon!  After eating we drove over to Round Rock for some Round Rock donuts!  The kids were heaven!

The next day I had scheduled a massage for Ben..hoping he would just have nothing but a relaxing day!!!!

Uncle Bill's 90th - Port Arthur trip

My Uncle Bill's 90th birthday celebration was in Port Arthur so my dad drove down with me and the kids while my mom drove down the day before.  We had to book it as quickly as possible as I needed to shower once we got there and knew we would have limited time.  That is putting it lightly.  Our room wasn't ready...well no rooms were ready.  Got my parents into their room and I was able to get ready in there.

We headed out to the party and it was so good to see so many relatives I had not seen in SO long!

After the party we met Stephen and Will for dinner at Floyd's.  To say it was good is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
