Our Wedding

We did decide to get married in Vegas!  It was so much more relaxing than a big wedding.  Not much planning and those that wanted to join us could and if not ...that was ok too!  We made the arrangements from SA to get married at the Little Church of the West.  It was a church they picked up and moved off of the main strip to just right off the strip.  It had been around for quite some time.  It was small and quaint.  I didn't want flowers or any of the typical wedding ancillaries.  I just wanted it to be about me and Ben and nothing else.

We flew out on the 17th of November and stayed at The Hotel which is a part of Mandalay Bay.  It was more upscale, no smoking and no gambling..which we liked.  My parents flew out the next day...on their anniversary!   

I cannot remember which evening it was but either the night we arrived or day after we headed to get our marriage license.  Talk about a long line!  Seems a lot had our idea!

We shopped, Ben gambled a bit...Joseph was there so he got to spend time with him.  There were about 20 or so that joined us for our special day....our special weekend!  We had dinner the night before....Italian...all of us.  The next day..our wedding day.  

It was a great day...so relaxing..just ready to say "I do".
