Winter time fun!

Nothing like sleeping with mommy when daddy is gone!

Emma went to Olivia Pena's unicorn themed birthday party.  It was adorable!  

We went to the new Andretti's indoor racing facility.  It was a lot of fun.  Cash liked the racing but what surprised us more than anything is Emma wanted to join in on the racing fun as well!

Judy, Scott and Michelle came for a visit.  It was good to see them and spend a little time catching up.

Dental visits for the kids occur every Dec and June.  They both did great!  No cavities!!!!

On a beautiful Saturday we drove quite a ways to Alamo Springs Cafe for one of their well known hamburgers.  If it was in Texas Monthly my dad is there!  They were unbelievably busy!!  Burgers were ok....although I am not a burger person so.....overall the drive was nice and it was just a gorgeous day!

Emma and I got matching Adidas!  She loves to "twin" with me!

Since buying our lot in Anaqua we head over there frequently to play at the park.  

I had the girls and kiddos over for dinner!

Cash and Ben hit Andretti's again.

Dinner with Emma's friend Ivy...they have officially moved to Colorado and E misses her!  

Daddy Daughter Dance 2019

Ben and Emma went to their 2nd Daddy Daughter dance at Lifetime.  Emma picked out a very lively dress which she looked just stunning in!  She was going for a JoJo Siwa look and I am fairly certain she nailed it!  They had a great evening and danced the evening away until our little princess started to turn into a pumpkin.

Valentine's Day 2019

It's hard to believe that another Valentine's is here!  Ben and I celebrated the evening before with dinner which left the day of to be with the kids!

Welcome 2019 - New Year's Day

So there was not much excitement New Year's Day as Ben and I were still sick!  I slept on the couch miserable but Hobbs kept me company!  Happy New Year's!!  Let's hope starting out a little sick means that the rest of the year brings good health!  (side note:  Ben was sick again...maybe two more times, Cash missed a week of school due to be sick and Emma ended up sick with a stomach bug...are we done?!?!?!?)

New Year's Eve 2018 - change of plans....at home

New Years Eve turned out a bit different than we planned.  Days before I started not to feel good, then Ben didn't feel good and it just never let up.  We did head out to Chad and Rochelle's with every intention of ringing in the New Year with them as we have done every year for the past 6 years.  We headed back home today and straight to the urgent care for a steroid shot/antibiotics and now rest in bed.  The kids (mainly E) was a little disappointed but once we got home she was glad to be here.  We basically got no sleep last night so hoping that changes tonight and we feel better for the first day of 2019!

We have party favors and snacks so......HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Here's to making it to midnight, kisses all around and sweet dreams as we head into 2019!
