Cash - first sleep away camp - TBarM

Cash got to go to his first "sleep away" camp this summer at TBarM.  I don't know who was more nervous...me or him.  He seemed ok...very mature.  I always know that if I start to cry he will so I tried to maintain my emotions until we left.  He was excited but for me Saturday couldn't get here fast enough to pick him back up!   He did have a great time and we have him signed up for next summer.

When bubba is away we don't even have the strength to put our clothes on!  HA!

When we do decide to put clothes on we put bubba's clothes on to make us feel closer to him!! 

I made care packages for Cash as well as wrote him a little note for each day that he was there.

Date night w/ Mommy and Daddy

While Cash was at camp we took Emma out for a date night.  We went downtown to the Tower of America.  She was a little skeptical of the elevator as she is afraid of heights.  The restaurant moving was pretty fascinating to her and of course she loved the gift shop!!  We went into the little movie theatre after dinner but that was definitely not her cup of tea.  She didn't quite care for how interactive the movies were.

4th of July/My birthday

The 4th of July was a lot of fun.  We went to the club for their annual party and the kids had a blast.  The fireworks show was very impressive.  So impressive that Emma says she wants to have her birthday at the club like I did!  See...even she thinks that all of those fireworks were just for me!
