My 40th Birthday

For my 40th birthday...yes the BIG 40 Ben surprised me with a trip to Cabo and got Chad and Rochelle to join us!  We stayed at the One and Only Palmilla and it was just beautiful!  Sarah stayed with the kids so she shared some pics of the fun they had while we were gone.

The Palmilla was very pretty, the water gorgeous and the food outstanding!  The water is too rough to swim in and the beaches not like Playa beaches or Bahama beaches with respect to the texture of the sand but still gorgeous!

We spent my actual birthday with my parents at their house.  We grilled out, popped fireworks and of course birthday cake!  Hobbs wasn't so thrilled with the fireworks!  We had just picked him up in Houston the day before so he was literally getting used to his new family!

Hobbs "Batman" McPeak

Someone told me that we would find the right dog for us and that we would know when it was a fit.  Well that time has come.  Meet Hobbs "Batman" McPeak.  Some friends connected us with a French Bulldog breeder out of Houston and we now have our sweet boy Hobbs!  He is an absolute doll!  He is sweet, cute, a cuddle bug, playful and has such a fun personality!  We got him on July 3rd as we were coming home from Cabo for my 40th.

Hobbs was such a great birthday gift but more than that he has been a gift to our family!  Welcome home Hobbs!
