Emma's 6th Birthday

Our beautiful girl is turning 6 and unicorns are "the" thing right now!  

Emma at 6:

1. Still SUPER girly!
2. Plays well by herself.
3. Loves pink and purple.
4. Currently wants to be a Fashion Designer when she grows up.
5. For the past several weekends...typically on Sunday...she says its "crazy dress day" so she picks out whatever she wants and wears it.  Its usually very crazy but she is certainly figuring out her style!
6. Emma is HILARIOUS!  She keeps us laughing constantly.
7. She bosses Cash around but with anyone else she is still very shy!
8. She ADORES Cash so much that words can't describe the love between the two of them.  As much as they can annoy each other they adore each other.
9. She will run around naked with no fear!
10. Emma loves to sing and more than that loves to sing with Ben.
11. Her memory is sharp as a tack!  - isn't that true for most women though?? - accept mine
12. She can't tie her shoes yet and constantly reminds us to teach her....not sure why we don't focus on this but with her I guess I feel like she will figure it out.  That said its a focus this summer!

Father's Day 2019

Father's Day took us to JPrime for a nice quiet dinner!

Cash - Chicago with Jenna and Ryan

One of the best things about Cash's 6th grade year is he made a great friend...Ryan Hooper.  He is just a sweet young man with a sweet family.  Ryan's mom, Jenna, was taking Ryan to Chicago for the weekend after school ended and Ryan got to bring a friend....he wanted to bring Cash.  So the day after school ended off to Chicago they went.

The weather in Chicago was MUCH different than here in SA.  The high there wasn't over 70!  

Cash sent me this to show Emma...JoJo Siwa apparently threw out the first pitch at the Cubs game the night before.

I think the biggest hit of the trip was the pizza.  Chicago does have the best pizza...deep dish pizza!

Cash said these were the best mozzarella sticks he had EVER eaten!

Saturday evening Cubs game!  The boys got to go down on the field during the warm up!

After the game they grabbed a bite at Chick Fil A...while there they were drawn by a gentleman (on drugs) but WOW....

They did walk Michigan Ave and do a little shopping.  Cash bought himself some tennis shoes, a backpack and a t-shirt...along with a pullover from the Cubs game!
