I have to do a better job of documenting all the funny and sweet things that Emma says at her sweet age of 4 years old. So I am trying to start earlier than I normally do with this entry.
1. Well...it happened....Emma finally caught on to the "wife" thing when Ben tells her that I am his wife. Now she tells him, "She is my wife and my life! Mommy tell him that you are my wife and my life!!".
2. We were walking around the field while at Cash's football practice and I told Emma we needed to watch where we walked as I thought I saw some sticker burrs. On the way back to our chairs she asked me about those "bird stickers".
3. While I am making this blog entry Emma is laying on the couch eating her cereal and watching her iPad when she casually but so passionately tells me "mommy I love you...you are the best...I just love you forever and ever and ever"....she is so sweet!!
4. Emma has consistently said she doesn't want to go to school and that she just wants to live with us forever. When she was about two I was pretty adamant that she was most definitely going and that the thought of her living with us forever was ridiculous! Not because I didn't worship her then because I did but because you want your children to grow and become productive citizens. While all of that remains true I feel differently now when she tells us that. I don't want to let her go. I don't want to send her to kinder. I don't want her to leave home. At least that's what my heart tells me. My mind is always more pragmatic but my heart and I struggle with what is very quickly approaching!! Ben never struggles with this as I truly believe that he would be just fine if she never left the house and lived with us forever!
5. Random evening where it was just Emma and I home and she was eating dinner....I tell her to finish her dinner...she says, "I'll think about that."

6. One evening at Cash's FB practice Emma told me "mommy I love you so much! you are the best mommy! you take such good care of me!" It amazes me that she even thinks about that much less is able to put those emotions she has into words. I hope she always feels that way and that God willing she has a daughter that feels just the same of her. I pray everyday that I teach her well...even in my not so proud mommy moments.
7. Emma calls Ben's Crystal Light - Sparkling Light
8. When the boys got back from their TBarM trip Emma asked when her and Ben could go camping, just the two of them. I asked, "what about me?". She said that I could go after her and Ben went together the first time but that Cash couldn't go. She said "Cash needs to do his own thing."
9. Gloves are still glubs
10. Vampirina is her favorite cartoon right now.
11. For the last 6 months Emma has said she is going to be married and have kids. Sometimes its 5 kids and sometimes that seems like a lot to her and she lowers the number to 1. She says she will work at McDonald's or Willy's and her husband will be at home with the kids. When she is having 5 kids her husband brings them to wherever she is employed and they help her work. Clearly we hope that her aspirations grow with respect to her place of employment while being a mom and wife. Most of all I hope her dreams come true and she marries the man that exists in those dreams and that God blesses her with all the children they want!
12. Emma and Cash adore each other...still. While they have their moments of driving each other nuts their love for one another is greater than any I have seen. She looks up to him, bosses him around, wants to wrestle with him, play soccer with him, play football with him, dance with him, cuddle with him and 99% of the time she lights up every time he walks in the door. There isn't a time that she doesn't want to get him a treat if she is getting one. She is always thinking about him.
13. Her imagination is still so vast. She loves make believe!

14. Emma calls a riddle a "riddem" - at bedtime its "mommy do you want to do double double riddem riddem?" (that means she wants to do rock paper scissors to see who goes first and then I tell a riddle, she does...repeat)
15.
Emma: mommy I have to go poop....runs to the guest bath and shuts the door.
Me: ok
Emma: Mommy!! I'm done!!
Me: why did you shut the door?
Emma: because I wanted privacy!
Me: why? It's just you and me here!
Emma: I want to go poop like daddy!!
Me:🙄

16. Emma got a karaoke machine for Christmas as she loves to perform! She calls her "kariemamoke machine"
17. Pigeons are "pigeots"
18. "Mommy, dance with me. Let me teach you some of my slick dance moves and you teach me some of your slick dance moves. Then we will show each other our slick dance moves!"
Emma had a great 4 year well child visit! I say great...she is great but the shots (or pokes as she called them) were not so great. She had to get 4 shots! We started seeing a new Pediatrician - Dr. Sara Bourland. The kids like her.
Ben had gone through his closet and what he was giving away was on the floor in a pile....Miss E decided she would get comfy.
I braided E's hair....which I am horrible at so I had to snap a pic of my work! We have to start somewhere.
This is Emma's stuffed piggy she got for Easter. She name her Fancy FoSho! I have no idea why that name but I love it!!!!
She loves to play dress up in whatever fashion that is!
