Random Fall pics/events

Just some random Fall pics.  Cash briefly did BMX racing.  We thought it may be something he would get into but it faded.  I can't say I was disappointed but glad he tried it.  I did capture my "I Voted" sticker and the unbelievably long line to vote.  Obviously we are seeing how all of that turned out.  I feel like I take so many random pics and I know we will enjoy looking back at them once I turn this blog into coffee table books.  

Our 11th Anniversary

Our 11 year anniversary.....a great dinner at Ruth's Chris and a movie!  We always say we don't know where the time goes and we still don't but its certainly moments like these where we can appreciate a deep breath.  A time to just take it all in and talk about years past and thoughts for our future.  I love Ben because of the man he is, his dedication to our family, the way he loves me, the father that he is, his heart, his stubbornness, the way he works so hard...too hard most of the time and more than anything how he accepts me for me.  Happy Anniversary to us!

Cash's 1st deer at Chad and Rochelle's ranch

We went down to Chad and Rochelle's ranch for Ben and Cash to hunt.  Cash had a great time and shot his first deer!  He was super excited!!  Outside of killing his first deer with my dad I can't think of a better place for him to do it!  Chad and Rochelle's place is just beautiful and so peaceful!  It was a great time!

Emma's 1st haircut

A big three and a half years old and its time for her first haircut!  I sort of dreaded getting her haircut...not more than her daddy but still very hesitant.  We just love her long hair as its part of who she is.  Not in a vane way....it just is.  Brushing it, washing it or constantly trying to keep it out of her face can be frustrating but all in all she loves it!  Its GORGEOUS!  The natural highlights and lowlights are stunning!  

We wouldn't go anywhere else but to Precision Kuts to see our favorite hair stylist, Cindy Brightman. Emma was excited to get her hair cut and sat very patiently while we took off a couple of inches.  Just a trim!  

Cash's 10th Birthday!!!!!!!!!! What????

So here we are...the BIG 10!  I have no idea where the last 10 years have gone but they are gone.  The next 10 are just something I cannot comprehend.  The changes that will happen....to him...to us....to our family dynamic.  

My sweet Cash...

You are still such a sweet boy with a great personality.  Much like when you were little you love to "play".  Now that "play" has turned into tackle football with your neighborhood friends or flying your drone with them....riding bikes.  You love to be outside as much as possible but the caveat to that is you want to have someone to play with if you are outside.  That has never changed.  Otherwise you are inside..in your room..on your iPad, watching tv...or playing.  I wish you hung out with us more in the living room and that is definitely our fault for either not telling you that...insisting upon it and I hope you don't think we don't want you in here.  I think you are just at an age that you like doing "your thing" and that is ok.  I believe in our relationship and though rough at times its constant...forever...and filled with love and trust.  

The dynamic of sports is definitely showing up now and its fun to see you and daddy watching games together.  I like that you understand football and get into the games....something I know nothing about.  Maybe you can teach me.  You say you want to play tackle football in the fall.  I am perfectly fine with that as I never want to stop you from trying something new.  The thought of you getting hurt scares me but not enough to stop you from trying.  I love that you are not afraid to try!  Its one of the things I admire most about you!  

You are still one of if not the tallest kids in 4th grade!  I can only imagine how tall you are going to be in middle school.  I absolutely love your height and build and just know it will benefit you as you mature.  You are SO handsome!!!!

4th grade is going by so quickly and I CANNOT believe you will be in 5th grade!  Big kid on campus and still the sweetest..with the BEST manners!  To hear other parents talk about you just makes my heart want to burst out of my chest.  We are so proud of you Cash and cannot wait to see what the next 10 years holds for you my handsome boy!!!! HAPPY 10th birthday!!!!

Well child visit with Dr. McCray!  Our last with her.  She will be missed.
