Mother's Day 2014

Mother's Day was again bittersweet this year for both me and my mom as we didn't get to make that phone call to our very special lady....my Missy.  I know she was with us though.  It was however my first Mother's Day as a mom of two!  Its still so surreal that I am a mom of two but I LOVE it!!

We took my parents to brunch at the JW which was very good.

Sea World field trip 2014

I went on my first school field trip with Cash's 1st grade class...and it was to Sea World.  Each chaperone got two or three kids, including our own, to chaperone during the field trip.  I of course got Cash and his classmate Samuel.

For the first couple of hours we got to walk around on our own and explore the park.  Megan and I teamed up and walked around together so Carter and Cash to hang out during the field trip.

 

We walked around and saw the dolphins, sharks, crocodiles, and penguins.  We did all of that before meeting up with their classmates for lunch.

We met up for lunch and then headed to the 'Shamu' show.  This trip to Sea World is interesting because its more from an educational perspective.  So the trainers actually explained how they work with the whales.

We made our way over to the Sea Lion show which was so cute.

We ended the day with a great group picture!

Carter and Cash

Carter and Cash have known each other since they were a year old.  For all but about a year and a half of that they have been in school together and they have been great friends the entire time.  Sometimes I don't realize how good of friends they are until I hear someone else tell me how inseparable they are at school.  That can sometimes be a good thing and also a bad thing....as boys will be boys.  They can play so well and then fight like an old married couple..but that is what makes them such great friends.

Carter came home with us after school to play and swim with Cash.  Got this pic right after they got in the water.
